Our Story

Founders of Anisochromatic

From Design Studio to Strategic Consultancy

Anisochromatic began in 2015 when Emma Bennett and Daniel Tauwhare, two design strategists with backgrounds in global branding agencies, recognized a gap in the New Zealand market. While many agencies offered visual design services, few provided the strategic depth that growing businesses needed to truly differentiate themselves.

Starting as a boutique design studio in Auckland's Ponsonby district, Anisochromatic quickly evolved when clients began seeking deeper strategic guidance. The founding team expanded their services beyond visual identity to include comprehensive brand positioning, messaging frameworks, and market differentiation strategies.

Today, Anisochromatic has grown to a team of twelve strategists, designers, and researchers, working from our central Auckland office. We've helped over 150 New Zealand businesses develop distinctive market positions and compelling brand experiences that drive measurable business results.
